ISDN PBX and 2820 IPPBX integration was created by lordwhiskey
Hi everyone,

i'm Marcellus and i'm trying to integrate one ISDN PBX with my new Vigor IPPBX 2820. My need is only to route SIP trunks from Vigor to ISDN PBX and viceversa. There is one issue with this setting. My ISDN PBX has an automatic music attendant that responds after the first ring.

This is the scenario:

I call my SIP number from external phone. I can see the exchange of messages from Vigor and D channel of ISDN1 BRI which shows SETUP, the CALL PROCEEDING, ALERT and CONNECTION and CONNECTION ACK.

If I hang up before the first ring, the telephones managed by the ISDN PBX stop ringing. But if I hang up after the first ring and the music attendant starts, the telephones managed by the ISDN PBX keep ringing. The only way to stop the ringing is to pick up a phone and hang it up.

Any idea about this issue?

Thanks

I've solved this issue.

To resolve it i've typed on Telnet terminal

ippbx pbxSystem misc -q 1

and enabled the sending of disconnect message on EVERY call hangup.

Works great!
