Cannot log in an extension was created by ajshaikh
Hoping someone can help me with my IpPBX 2820. I have the following setup & problem:
- running firmware 3.5.7.3
- I have a dyndns setup to access the router/lan remotely
- I have the SIP Proxy Setting as:
- SIP Local port: 5060
- SIP Proxy Realm: router ip
- RTP start: 15050
- RTP end: 20000
- everything else unchecked
- I have setup the extensions (Allow Remote Registration enabled for WAN & VPN)
I am unable to remotely login any extension using my tablet, phone, PC with SIP server address set to dyndns-address:5060
Can you please let me know what I'm doing wrong. Many thanks in advance.

Did you ever get this working? I've had it working OK on 3.5.7.3 and later FW.
There are some items to check on with this;
1- Go into the extension configuration and verify that you have "Allow remote registration from WAN" set.
2- Try unticking "Use display name as authentication ID" and using the extension number as the username in your SIP client. Also make sure the extension is actually active!
3- Make sure you haven't inadvertently blocked port 5060 in your firewall (you don't need to mess with port redirection in NAT- that's handled internally)
