how do you block port 5060 udp was created by dean.mac
Hi I have a 2820vn. I need to block port 5060 udp. The port is open for the voip, but there seems no where to turn it off.
I am not using voice over ip so do not need this port open.
The router has a credit card machine connected to it and the company want this port closed as it is a security risk.

I have tried in the firewall rules with no success, I have also turned off the voip with telnet session and the port is still open.

can someone help please

update the firmware to the latest

enter this command in telnet to turn off the router's VoIP ATA (and UDP 5060) - "voip sip misc -D 1"
the router should reboot after you enter that command
