Use Alias as outbound CLI was created by frankygee

I have a couple of DDI's.
I have set these up so calls to them are routed to specific extensions using the Alias feature.
However I want the outgoing CLI of the extensions to be their respective Alias.
Can anyone point me in the right direction to set this up.
Thanks.

Hi frankygee,
There are a couple of ways of achieving this. This is the one we generally use.
First create a group, with whatever relevant details you need, and select the extension number(s).
On the trunk alias setup, choose alias outgoing CLI, and put the number you want as the alias then select the group you created.
I don't know why this works, as it's a bit backwards, but it does.
Simon.

Is there a way of doing this via dial plans? Or anyway the user can choose what CLI to use out of all available aliases?
Cheers
