Hello all, I hope someone might be able to offer me some assistance.

I'm pretty new to VoIP and IP PBX, but have installed one which for the most part appears to work properly. The problem I am getting is with my voip.co.uk SIP trunk.

About once per day the router is returning a busy tone to the SIP provider - and pushing calls over the fallback and costing us money - and as it is returning a busy tone it also won't let us make any calls.

The firmware is: 3.5.8_2471201

And the trunk is showing that it is properly registered even during these problems. Registration is set for 120s, which is what voip.co.uk suggest.

I would really appreciate any help you could offer.

Complete guess here but I had this problem when I was running a software SIP phone as well as the 2820 connecting to the same account. So check that no other apps/ software/ hardware is connecting to your SIP trunk at the same time.
