BX2000, DECT & PSTN was created by ncollingridge
I am in the process of buying the kit for a new small office which will probably accommodate up to four or five people. I want to kit it out with a small exchange (PBX) which can provide extensions for all the desks, and in the short term integrate the existing two PSTN lines. I also want to have one or two DECT phones for mobility around the office.

In the longer term I want to add/migrate to some VOIP lines, but initially at least we will stick with the PSTN lines.

Will the BX2000 suit this scenario? From the spec it seems that I can plug the PSTN lines into the FXO ports, plug a DECT base station into the FXS port, and have a VOIP phone on each of the desks connected via the LAN. Will this work without any VOIP connections?

I would be grateful for some pointers on this - if it does work it will be an ideal way of slowly migrating from PSTN to VOIP.
