This is not meant to be a troll post or anything of the sort... I am just curious that with all the FTTC products and what not, as well as that Asus router that can route at 500Mbps or something crazy, are draytek falling behind in terms of technology to support the UKs next generation of broadband connections?

Don't think so
Asus as far i know has not yet any FTTC product, while draytek has few
Asus routers are ok but very good for wifi, personal having an asus as well it has the most bugs in its adsl modem and is been an year since out and not any major fix
Draytek it rocks ... believe me
Draytek has the 2130 which can go up to 800mb, the 2960, 3200 etc

The Vigor2130 can allegedly route at up to 800Mb/s (best conditions presumably). Bigger units like the Vigor3900 do even more.
