Dear All,
I am trying to get a Huawei E160 (a standard USB 3G Modem) to work with a 2800VG and the modem just blinks blue at me (indicating that there are networks available, but not connected).
I have put in the same APN/user/password items in the connection as I see in the O2 Connection Manager:
APN: m-bb.o2.co.uk
User: o2bb
Password: password
I have tried this with 2.8.1 and 2.8.2 Firmwares.
I have run Syslog and this is an excerpt:
166Jan 1 00:08:06Vigor[3G]Send query command AT+CPIN?
166Jan 1 00:08:08VigorPoE <== V:1 T:1 PADO ID:0

166Jan 1 00:08:16Vigor[3G]Send query command AT+CPIN?
166Jan 1 00:08:17VigorUSB Device disconnected from root port #1
I have also generated the DMS log as well (too bit for here).
Anyone know how to get this working?
Regards,
QuietLeni

APN Name: general.t-mobile.uk (this goes blank & adds it to above)
Modem Dial String: ATDT*99#

I've got the T-Mobile USB Stick 610 (Huawei E1750) up and running on a Draytek:
Router: 2820Vn
Firmware: 3.3.4_232201
APN:general.t-mobile.uk
PPP Username: user
PPP Password: one2one
(No idea whether those settings are required, but they work).
Failover was a bit odd as even though the ADSL was up, the Mobile Broadband was used instead.
I've not done extensive testing, but purely tested it by loading one page.
