thanks j-baker you gave me patience to persevere after trying all the UK releases and failing. I tried the australian "3G Beta" firmware and it worked immediately.

Its a slightly different version to your though...

Model Name : Vigor2820 series
Firmware Version : 3G_beta
Build Date/Time : Feb 11 2009 15:19:59
ADSL Firmware Version : 2121501_A Annex A

I'm typing this through my 169G on three UK.

sice my port I have also upgraded to the same firmware that you are now using. I am glad that your 3G connection is working.

Hi - does anyone know of a working firmware for the 2800G ?

For the 2800 series, if you want 3G to work well you need to use the latest beta firmware:
http://www.draytek.co.uk/support/download/v2800_2821_b1120_beta.zip
