Useful tip to use the Cisco Set MTU tool and change the default to 1300 but, having checked, I find our web host (who provided the Cisco client for us) had already done that - and it still did not work. We only achieved success when we followed the earlier tip to disable UDP Flood Defense

Just to say, this work around is still required.
Discovered the fix by myself yesterday and then saw this thread today - doh!
You can of course set Cisco VPN to use TCP (if supported on the remote end). Thus by passing the DoS UDP issue.
It would have been better if the DoS Settings had been only enforced on the WAN side and not the LAN side as well.
