Vigor 2500V won't start up unless...

I have a 2500v connected to Netgear 4 port hub. When I switch on the 2500v in the morning, it refuses to boot up unless I wait around 20sec then switch on the Netgear hub. Sometimes it won't start when the hub is switched on but starts when I switch the hub off again. With nothing connected to the router it won't start up. Any idea's as to what's wrong with the router? Has anybody come across this before?

Thanks Kim

Edit: Firmware V2.5.9 ASDL firmware 3.27 AnnexA

With the help of DrayTek Support I have identified the problem, a faulty ac / dc adapter. Now all that's left is for me to find a replacement 15v 1.2a ac /dc adapter.

Thanks to Andrew in support for his very quick help.

It is a bit OTT but this one from Maplin should do the job for £20.

Thanks for that, it is probably a bit large. I have found one at the bottom of this page that might do.
