I have a 2820vn running 3.3.1 firmware, I'm trying to configure a T-mobile E220 3G modem.

so far I have set the ppp client to enable, set the username to user and the password to pass . I have set the APN name to general.t-mobile.co.uk but no joy.

It is driving me round the bend, Signal strenght is being picked up and TX and RX packets but no connection !!!!!

I would be really grateful of anyones help as I have set Voda E220s up before and don't remember all this hassle.

I just plugged mine in and it worked without me changing any settings in the router beyond selecting the device - I'm running the latest firmware from T-Mobile on the stick itself.

Init string is:

AT&FE0V1X1&D2&C1S0=0

Dial is:

ATDT*99#

Everything else is blank (ie no APN or PPP username/pass etc is needed)

I've not locked the SIM so this field is also empty
