Vigor 2900 randomly rebooting was created by phil30
Hi all,
After a period of 3 years of solid performance our 2900 is now randomly rebooting itself 2-3 times a day which is causing major problems as we have 6 remote sites coming in through this router. I've changed nothing in the settings and can see nothing untoward in the syslog. Could it be on the way out?
Many thanks.

I have the same problem with a 2910, hooked up to two Vigor 110s.
The Status screen shows the router as having restarted, then the modems connecting a few seconds later [as you'd expect as they are just ethernet modems, no config on them, all done through the 2910].
Mains power seems fine - two Dell Powerconnect 2748s on the same PDU have been up for 45 days, the router can barely manage a few days.
I'm running firmware 3.1.2, would anyone suggest updating it to a newer firmware [if available], or downgrading to a more stable version, etc?
Is it possible to import configs between firmware revisions? I know that is a nightmare on my D-Link at home and this is a works gateway so I can't have it being down for too long....!
Any suggestions gratefully received!
