Vigor 2820 Series Routing Traffic Outbound was created by testsubjec
Hi folks,

I am wanting to configure my router so that outbound traffic on ports 25, and 110 go out on our fixed IP (217.xxx.xxx.xxx) and everything else goes out on our dynamic ip (81.xxx.xxx.xxx).

We only have the one ADSL connection with BT who provide us with a dynamic IP and one fixed IP.

We also have a number of inbound connections using the fixed IP (RDP, CCTV, etc).

Thanks

the inbound connections will reply on the external ip requested unless "join nat pool" is enabled.
i'm not aware of a way you can force port based traffic through a certain ip.
sure you can restrict traffic via outbound firewall rules but this isn't the same as routing it outbound.
with dual wans, its easy too but with a single wan i'm not sure.

2820 = 3.3.2_RC5
2950 = 3.2.4
