3300v crashes was created by msilcox
We recently relocated our servers and firewall\vpn hardware to a new location. Since then the 3300v crashes when doing file transfers (ie FTP or checking out from svn) and sometimes when simply rdp-ing to one of the servers connected to it. I have updated the firmware to the latest and it still happend.

Has anyone seen this before or know of any solutions? We are always connecting through the VPN (we all work remotely). We never saw issues before, but this could be because we were usually connected to the LAN rather than via VPN.

Our setup is not complicated and we are only really using the 3300v for its VPN and firewall capabilities, it's connected to a single WAN (it was bought with the prospect of growth and we have shrunk since).

Thanks in advance
Mark

Odd! I downloaded and installed a syslog server to see what errors were seen and I can't make it break anymore. I assume that the pushing of messages is keeping the system alive.

Well at least it appears to be working.

Then again - it's crashed again. At least got some logs now!

I see this in the logs around when it goes down:

2009-05-26 16:23:17 Kernel.Emerg 192.168.1.1 syslog: MAY 26 16:29:37 Vigor3300 rcvd [LCP TermReq id=0xb "gie\37777777643\00037777777715t\000\000\000\000"]
2009-05-26 16:23:17 Kernel.Emerg 192.168.1.1 syslog: MAY 26 16:29:37 Vigor3300 LCP terminated by peer (gieM-#^@-Mt^@^@^@^@)

This has happened both with and without a VPN connection.
