Sounds promising!

Are you able to host the firmware somewhere or email it to me?

Hi *Sledge

Thanks for the email. I have installed the firmware but I am still having reboots. It seems to reboot(/crash?) when I have a number of torrents downloading to a wirelessly connected PC. With a single torrent the router is fine.

Are you still without a reboot?

Still no reboot since the update.

You need to be aware when using p2p that if you have too many connections it can crash/hang your router.

I had a Draytek 2600 prior to this and had to limit it to something like 150 connections otherwise it would reboot or even just hang and require a reboot.

Not sure what the limits are with the 2820n but I imagine relying on wireless will also reduce the stable amount of connections you can maintain.

Try dropping the number of connections over a period of time by say 10 each time until you see no more reboots.

Also, to people requesting the firmware I imagine it's best to contact support in regards to this as they are the experts when it comes to this and they provide a very prompt service which is so nice to come across. The only other hardware company I've such a prompt service from is Belkin. Linksys/Netgear did everything possible to weasel out of their warranty obligations. I digress...
