I have a 2820 modem with version 3.3.2 firmware.

We have just upgraded to ADSL2+ and now the modem won't connect. It just shows an error message with the username or password.
I have tried a netgear modem and this works fine.

I understand that this maybe an issue with the hardware in the exchange and the modem.

Does anyone know if draytek are going to provide a firmware update to fix this problem.

It has something to do with the hardware at the exchange. I'm sure Draytek are aware of the problem.

Hi Markm4,

I'm now having the same problem with IDNet. I've just moved from EntaNET 24Mb to IDNet 24Mb and now my 2820Vn will not connect to the exchange. It syncs OK, but I keep on Getting PPP shutdown, etc. The username and password are correct as as Netgear 834G works perfectly and IDnet can see it trying to connect.

I hope that Draytek sort this out soon, as my remote users cannot vpn in to our business network.

My connection is also with IDNet, It works fine with the Netgear but not with the Draytek.
We are now trying to get back online with standard ADSL but it's taken about two weeks so far

Mark,

Why not connect as I have with a netgear DG834 and use the WAN2 port of the draytek. this way you are up and running whilst Draytek solve the problem?
