I have moved from a 2600 to a 2910

with the 2600 I was able to use a single wan ip address and pass thru a separate public subnet as the second LAN address range and have WAN clieints connect easily via the router.

With the 2910 things are a bit different. We have an ISP supplied ZyXEL which grabs the single IP and uses the first available public address on its wan side.

The 2910 then has the next pub ip address and uses the ZyXEL Lan as its gateway.

I am having trouble getting clients with public IP addresses to work on the 2910 2nd subnet a few questions:

1) Should the first address on the 2nd subnet be the same as the 2910 wan address, or perhaps one up?
2) For the clients should the gateway be the 2910 2nd subnet address or the ZyXEL LAN address
3) Do I need to enter a static route in the 2910

Or any other advice gratefully recd
