I've just bought an Apple Extreme wireless router and of course then discovered it has no modem - everything pointed to the Vigor 120 as being the simplest, best solution - a straight through, no nonsense modem with no setting up.
However, when I connect the filtered telephone line into the box, and then on to the Router, every light on the Vigor 120 comes on except the Internet light.
I can get the Router transmitting, and computers pick up the signal, but it will not connect to the internet.
First question - should the internet green light come on, when the line is connected?
Help, please!

I am using the Vigor 120 modem just connecting pc to BT line, its running normally but the Internet led never illuminates. DSL is on. ACT flashes. Lan is on.
