Hi -

just setting up a vigor 120 on a new ADSL2+ annex M connection.
the 120 is plugged into the WAN port of a sonicwall pro2040 firewall which is using NAT/PPPoE client for ISP authentication

had to change modulation type on 120 from multimode to ADSL2+ annex m to get a connection.

connection is a bit flakey - and speed tests show 2 MB upload (which is good), but only 5MB download which is the same as our old ADSL max service (120 reports 2.5MB up & 18MB download in system status)

based on the fact I had to change one setting already to get a connection, I was wondering if anyone knows of any other tweaks to to the 120 that are appropriate for ADSL2+ annex m connections.

Also, I notice there are 2 slightly different firmware versions for the 120 on the download site - any ideas what the differences are?

F/W 3.2.2 (standard ADSL 321311)
F/W 3.2.2 (alt ADSL 332201)
