I would like my 2820Vn to email me the syslog everday as my Netgear DG834pn used to do. I am a SOHO user and don't have a syslog server or a PC that is on 24/7. My Netgear box (that died on a hot day at 50 deg.c causing me to buy a new modem) used to email once a day with its syslog (which covered all firewall events) so I could review it. The Netgear box also allowed me to view its stored event log via the http management page.

The 2820vn doesn't allow either of these options. The 2820 has email alerts for identified attacks but that is not the same as emailing the sys/firewall log.
