I have just purchased a Draytek 2710n and I'm trying to get it to work with my Windows 2003 server. I have forwarded port 1723 traffic to my server (NAT > Open Ports > 1723 > 192.168.0.1)

Unfortunatley this doesnt appear to work and looking at the syslog the Draytek itself is trying to authenticate. On older versions of Drayteks I have seen a tick box which if unticked (pptp) the unit doesnt do anything with vpn traffic but can't seem to find any options anywhere.

Please can someone help?

Try

http://192.168.x.x/doc/RAccCtl.htm

where 192.168.x.x is your router's LAN address

Hi

am having the same problem with a 7210, can't see where to "untick" the VPN boxes like on the older models to allow vpn passthrough, tried the suggestion above and it does shw me the screen I'd expect to see but teh boxes are already unticked - when i try to tick them and apply (just to test) nothing happens - it's like the 2710 is showing me the page but not alowing me to make any changes to it?

report it to draytek. It looks like while knobbling the inbound teleworker functioinalilty they have removed a screen they shouldn't have. IIRC they did the same think on the 2700 when first "released" for the UK.

telnet to the 2710 and type:

vpn remote PPTP off
vpn remote IPSec off
vpn remote L2TP off

That's how I fixed it in the end with thanks to those who helped me.

Thanks for the pointers everyone. I have reported to Draytek but need to get resolved sooner rather than later. When I telnet to the router it lets me login but when I type any of the commands..

vpn remote PPTP off
vpn remote IPSec off
vpn remote L2TP off

I just get the following error in return...

% Valid subcommands are:
121set 2ndsubnet NetBios mss ike

Any ideas???
