2820 or 2910 ? was created by catjam
Due to other-half's work arrangements we are shortly to gain a second line configured with Orange broadband/livebox connection (BT line). Our current connection is still maintained via a 2600v (BT line).

Looking to share our internet access over both connections when up, so trying to decide whether to just get a 2910, or replace the 2600v with a 2820vn. Can't really decide whether there is any difference in functionality, robustness etc favouring one solution over the other.

Anybody got any direct experience/knowledge of how these two options would compare?

Thanks for your help!

Throughput on the 2910 appears to be limited to 15Mbps (although they said that on the 2900 and I managed just over 20 in a limited test). The 2820 is much higher.

2900Gi/v2.5.6; 2900/v2.5.6

Thanks, worth noting - we're very close the exchange and currently sync up at the maximum 8Mb, so 2 lines at that speed would put it close to it's top line. Not much headroom if our exchange ever gets upgraded or LLUed. The 2820 sounds more future-proofed.
