Hi Guys,

I have been using Vigor 2600 for 5 years and I love it!

Recently I upgraded to ADSL2 and so had to get Netgear DG834 but it doesn't handle multiple static (public) IPs.

So I want the two to work in conjunction. The 834 as a modem and the 2600 as the router.

The DG834 can work in 'modem only' mode and connects to the ISP.

How do I make the 2600 to work as a 'router only'? What settings do I need to specify?

Could someone please help me!

Many Thanks

SK

You can't as the 2600 does not have an ethernet WAN port.

2900Gi/v2.5.6; 2900/v2.5.6

I was told by my ISP that BT and Draytek have resolved the compatibilty issues and as such Draytek Vigor 2600 is now capable of working with ADSL2.

I checked it and to my pleasant surprise it works!!
