I have Model Name : Vigor2820n Firmware Version : 3.3.2.1_232201
which i today upgraded the firmwar to this version. Once i had rebooted the router I could not RDP to my other pc's where as on f/w v3.2.1 it was working fine.

I do not use NAT as i have a public IP address range.

My second issue is i have a wireless IP camera which uses port 80 and from outside my network i can not access it.

I have set up TCP filters to allow ports 80(Camera) & 3389(RDP) but no joy in getting round the problems.

Direction: WAN -> LAN
Source IP: Any
Destination IP: Any
Service Type: TCP Port from 80 to 80
Fragments: Dont care
Application Action/Profile
Filter: Pass Immediately

i have also tried to disable all filters and dos blocking but still does not work

Hopefully someone else has had this issue and has resolved it.

Thanks in advance for any help.

If it was me I would only use VPN to access your devices on your LAN, having rdp on open to the cloud is a security risk if you ask me!!

If you have a range of Static IP addresses from your ISP you can add upto eight of them in the router (Multi NAT) and then port forward from each of your WAN IP address to each of your devices on your LAN i.e. CCTV system.

Goto NAT and setup inbound port forwarding rules WAN -> 192.168.1.2 (CCTV system) and select port 80 TCP

Hope this helps.

I also have a problem with the new firmware and NAT - this time with WAN2 NAT no longer working properly (eg. not at all !). Going back to the older firmware fixes it. I've tried going to factory defaults and setting up again - but same results. :(
