Strange Strict IP to MAC binding issue was created by rickead2000
Hi,
I am running strict IP to MAC binding on a 2820 with the latest firmware.
For the first 3 or 4 days everything will work fine and all the devices (IP phones in my case) will get the correct IP.
After this period, one device will start getting the IP of the Draytek itself, 172.16.1.1. The device is definitely still set to DHCP and no amount of reboots will cause it to get the correct IP.
However, rebooting the Draytek and subsequently the device will fix everything again for a period of a couple of days. At which point another device will start getting 172.16.1.1.
Has anybody come across this before? I can only imagine this is a bug in the firmware??

there have been so many dhcp bugs with this product that I wouldn't be at all surprised if this was another. Probably worth trying another version of firmware, either newer or older and seeing if that removes the issue.
Draytek seem really to be struggling with a working, reliable dhcp solution for this product line.
