2710Vn not switching to PSTN line on power or ADSL failure was created by andrewbracewell
have just purchased the 2710Vn and setup voip (sipgate). All works well but it doesn't switch the phone line to the PSTN line when either the ADSL line is down or mains power loss. It does say that it should do this in the manual. Anybody else have the same problem. Firmware is 3.2.3.1

What phone port are you connecting to ? I believe it's port 2 that does failover.

I have also had a reply from Draytek support confirming that its port 2 is the failsafe port. Its a shame they didn't say that in the manual.
