Access to Status pages on 120 was created by pcmanning
Hi there, got my replacement 120 which now syncs way faster than my old Cisco. Anyway, it's doing PPPoE from a Linksys AP (running the DRT firmware). So the AP gets an address from the ISP 212.X.Y.Z and NATs as normal. The AP's internal address is 192.168.2.254 and the 120 is 192.168.2.1 - any way of getting access to the 120's status pages/telnet from the internal network while it's connected to the AP.

cheers
Paul

If it's like the Vigor 100 then you can run a second cat5 cable to it from the router and then you can talk to it on its LAN IP.

Why won't a switch work? I've got a scheme to use my ESX server virtual switch to connect a VM to monitor the vigor?

You can use a switch but if you run syslog then it shows endless stream of trace route and fraggle attacks in firewall log.
I dont know if a hub would cause the same.
