2800VG as router only

2800VG as router only was created by ntm1275
I want to use my Netgear 834G as a modem and my 2800VG as a router only

I can set the 834G to modem only, but what settings do I need for the 2800VG to act as a router only

It can't be done as the 2800 series does not have an ethernet WAN port. The 2800 can only act as a switch or fully functioning modem/router - unless you look at the USB modem options which I do not know about.
