2820 with cable as primary LAN was created by kevintynfron
Hi,

I'm looking to buy a 2820 to use in an office which has cable and ADSL internet access.

The cable access is much quicker than the ADSL, so I want that one to the the primary one with the ADSL as the failover.

The blurb for the router is pushing the ADSL side, so I'm worried that the ADSL has to be the primary.

Can anybody tell me if I can set it using the Ethernet port as primary and ADSL as the failover?

Cheers,
Kevin

Have found an answer.

If you look at The live web demo you can see that you can have WAN1 (ADSL) be active only when WAN2 (Cable) fails.

It's a bit pants (ooh! cr*p was moderated!) that the demos aren't available on the UK website. In fact, where's the things like manuals that I can find in the US that aren't on the UK site?

Of course, I could just not be looking properly :-)
