2820 bandwidth setup for ADSL+cable config was created by vvex
Hi
I have a Vigor 2820 with ADSL 12M/1M as WAN1 and cable 5M/1M as WAN2 setup and i would like some help assigning WAN1 and 2 to different connections. For example i would like to have http browsing done trough WAN2 (cable) but donloads done with say torrent or other inet using programs trough WAN1(ADSL).
I couldn't find any specific rule regarding specific programs assignement to a WAN or another.
TIA

Use the Load Balance policy menu. You can specify which WAN traffic uses based on the destination port (it doesn't do it based on applications)
Create a rule with TCP 80 and TCP 443 to use WAN2 to ensure that web browsing goes out via WAN2. If no rule is matched then the automatic load balancing would decide which WAN port to use.
The rules are procsed in sequence, so if you want a catch all rule for all other traffic to use WAN1 put the rule at the end (to make it match every port just don't enter a destination port in the rule).
