2910 using W2 for BeThere was created by lesd
Just had a new line installed with BeThere and a fixed IP with a view to connecting it to WAN2 of my DrayTek 2910 router.
I have set the Be modem to bridge mode and connected it to W2 on the 2910.
I then tried to set up WAN2.
Enable: Yes
Physical mode: Ethernet
Active mode: always on
I then tried Access Mode: Static or Dynamic IP and on the details page I entered by fixed IP and the Be gateway and managed to get a conncetion showing up on the Online Status page. Unfortunately I then lost all outging connections - could not get to any web page.
Turning it all off was not successful. The Online Status still showed WAN2 in green as connected but with Enabled: No. Still no web pages. In the end I uploaded an earlier configuration file and am back up running again on WAN1 only.
What next?

Update: After re-checking evertything I found that I had connected port 4 of the Be modem rather than port 1. Port 4 is reserved for future use so who knows what it was doing.
Seems to be working.
I have set both W1 and W2 to be always active.
Will web access use either connection on a random basis, or is there some way to control it?
