Hi,

I have a Vigor 2900v on my Virgin Internet Service but I am unable to access my SBS server from the web. (Works fine within the LAN)

Shieldsup (grc.com) was showing me as having the some ports open but these turned out to be the ports for the 2900's own interface.

I have turned the interface off but the router now shows me as stealth i.e. no open ports.

I have tried everything including putting the server as the DMZ but no luck what so ever - Cant think what have I missed on this vigor but must be something ?

Is there any log view on the 2900 which could help me see what traffic s hitting it in realtime ?

Many Thanks

Which ports are you trying to use to access the SBS?

I know you say you have turned off remote access, but have you tried changing the remote access ports as well (e.g.80 -> 8080 etc)?

2900Gi/v2.5.6; 2900/v2.5.6

Yes, the web management is now on port 8080

ports I need are 443, 3389, 4125

DMZ is still open but absolutely no access ??

Can you change https access on port 443 to something like 8443?

Thanks, I'm hoping to take a look at this tonight but may have to work late.

Cheers.
