I'm new to the Vigor and its taken me a long time to get anywhere Can anyone confirm my findings re firewalls , that I have not missed something.
If I have set
Firewall>>General Setup
Application:Filter Action/Profile:BLOCK

The to offer just one service behind the firewall on say port 12000
Firewall>>2 Default Data Filter
Firewall >> Filter Setup >> Edit Filter Set
I need TWO rules , one to allow incomming data
WAN>LAN
Source:any
Destination:IP of my host
Service Type:TCP/UDP,Port from any to 12000
And a second for the outgoing reply
LAN>WAN
Source:IP of my Host
Destination:any
Service Type:TCP/UDP,Port from 12000 to any
