I have a static ip block from my isp which i want to push to my linux router.

How do I configure this? Should the modem and the first static ip address and the pppoe client take the next static ip address?

Many thanks,

Chris

I'm getting so frustrated with the pathetic modem, I'm nearly ready to chuck it in the bin.

Where is the documentation for setting up using a static ip block???

My Vigor modem just passes all my static IP's through and doesnt terminate the connection at all, my 2950 does that.

I didnt change any settings at all on the vigor just plug one side to my adsl faceplate (BT Business) one of RJ45 connections to my 2950 and put all PPOE settings into the router.
