I have a Vigor 2820N sitting in a box, waiting to be installed (using an old Speedtouch 585 right now).

Our 15 year old daughter is getting a laptop for Christmas, and I want to be able to set up her connection so that Internet access stops at a time of our determining, not hers. (say, 11pm --I'm a reasonable guy!)

So the question is...... If I give the laptop a static IP on the WLAN, does the 2820N have software that lets me set access times to specific (local) IP address, eg., her laptop?

Or do I need other software to do this?

Thanks in anticipation...........

If its a new laptop with W7 why not use the O/S parental controls and set login hours etc, instead of relying on the router.

Thanks for that suggestion. Laptop came with Vista Home Premium, but I have allready ordered Windows 7 upgrade from Dell. Hopefully it will be here in time for Christmas.

Must have a look at the Parental Controls - I've put 7 Home Premium on my HP2133 mininote - seriously impressed so far!
