USB / Fat32 EHD / PST file was created by philby
Hello

I'm trying to host an Outlook PST file on an external drive (FAT32) attached to a 2820n (latest firmware).

I can upload the PST directly from the router and/or copy+paste it to the mapped drive via Windows Explorer but when I try to associate the PST with my Outlook accounts, I get this Outlook message: The file xxx.pst is not a personal folders file.

Has anyone else tried to do this and succeeded?

Also, very curiously, the size of the PST file on the mapped drive is reported in PB or even EB in Windows Explorer, sometimes in minus figures and sometimes not.

Am I misunderstanding something in relation to Samba sharing?

(I'm running Win 7 on a simple 4 box home network)

Thanks in advance for any advice .
