Vigor 120 Adsl ethernet modem was created by cypher12
I have recently purchased the Vigor 120 Adsl ethernet modem and tried connecting it to my D-link DIR-855, but when I go into the modem webpage it tells me that the link status is not connected and I have no ip address and no gateway. I am trying to use it for my Eclipse Broadband. These are my setting for Eclipse: IP Address(es)-Dynamically Assigned VPI=0 VCI=38
RFC2364 PPPoATM VC - Null Encapsulation
Multimode
AutoModulation
DNS Settings-Dynamically assigned
Could someone tell what I am doing wrong?

If you bought it within the past 2 weeks, it's possible it doesn't have the correct UK settings. Contact DrayTek support as there was a batch a couple of weeks ago which were not correct (you can adjust it yourself, you don't have to send it back).

Also, once you've got it up and running you will need to update the firmware to the latest rev from the website, mine was rubbish (kept dropping/resyncing the connection) until I updated it and now it works perfectly
