3300V Console Cable and Modem was created by commbdown
Hi,
Does anyone know if it's possible to connect a standard analog modem to the console port on a Vigor 3300?
I have a spare US Robotics unit here and would like to have dial in access to the device.
Thanks
David

No, it is not possible. The only DrayTek router with analogue modem capability is the vigor2820 with the AFM-102 modem.

You are missing my point, I want to dial in to a modem, and then send console commands to the console port via a serial cable.
The Cisco console ports support this if you have the right modem etc.
Thanks
David
