NLB was created by oakeyc
Dear all,

I have a 2820n which I have updated the firmware on to 3.3.3_232201. My problem is that when I enable NLB on a pair of Windows 2003 R2 x64 servers, machines on my network seem to loose their connection from time to time (say every 5 minutes or so - although it varies).

Looking at the syslogs, I see in the User Access log:

WLAN_DBG - WEP_session_stop
WLAN_DBG - MLME Disassoc MAC <mac_addr>
.
.
.
WLAN_DBG - MLME Associate MAC <mac_addr>

In the Firewall log I see a number of these entries:
Arp address mismatch - Ethernet source address doesn't match ARP sender address.

As soon as I disable the NLB (which is set to multicast mode), everything works fine again. I have been through and very carefully checked the NLB configuration and have tried with & without IGMP mulitcast mode.

The MS help I have managed to glean suggests to "make sure that your router has proxy ARP support turned on. You can also set a static ARP entry to keep proxy ARP support disabled in the router."

Does anyone know how I can do this on the 2820n? Has anyone else seen this problem?

Any suggestions would be very welcome :?

Thanks very much.
