3300 URL Filter not working was created by joe9087
Hi all
We have a Draytek 3300 which has two WAN connections on it, which are load balanced. WAN1 is an ADSL connection via a Draytek 2600, WAN2 is is a high-speed connection via a Wireless ISP.
The problem is that we have recently enabled the URL Access Filter, however, it's not working at all. For example, trying to block facebook we have tried the following in the "keywords" table;
facebook
facebook.com
www.facebook.com
http://www.facebook.com
Nothing works as all computers can still access Facebook as normal, as well as being able to load search results for Facebook on Google etc.
We have upgraded to the latest firmware version 2.6, and have also made sure all computers IE browser cache's have been cleared, and of course rebooted the 3300.
Currently we can only filter by setting up URL filtering on the ADSL router, Draytek 2600. However as the 3300 is set up to load balance the two WANs, this isn't ideal and isn't the point, as surely the 3300 should be able to block the URLs over all WANs !
Any ideas or suggestions greatly appreciated, completely stuck!

Not a Draytek solution but you could acheive this by using OpenDNS, free and easy.
