Vigorphone 350 was created by tonybee
I am connecting through a 2820Vn Lan port to a Draytel account. I get a dial tone and the phone at the other end rings but I cannot hear the person speaking and they cannot here me. If I try and call the 350 the phone does not ring or answer. If I Plug an analogue phone into one of the phone ports and use the same Draytel account all works ok. I have tried changing the codecs but that has not made any difference. Has anyone else out there had chance to play with the settings?

The 'Vn' router is VoIP equipped so it's probably intercepting incoming VoIP packets (understandably). Change the SIP port (from 5060 to something else) on the router to see if the phone works okay they. The VoIP ports on the router won't work during that test.

Sorry about the mis-information. The router is a 2900Vg. I changed the SIP port to 5080 on the router and left the phone SIP port at 5060. Still no joy

okay, so try using a SIP/NAT proxy or a STUN server (see FAQ I think, either for DrayTEL or the router on this site)

Apparently the guys at Draytek need to do a mod to get this to work. Not sure how long that is likely to take.
I can make calls but still cannot receive any. Bit of a waste of money really.
Thanks for your help admin re the stun server

Hi

I am in the same position. 2820Vn and 2 x VigorPhone 350.

Phone says the SIP accounts are registered. Can dial out - phone rings - cannot hear anything on either end when aswered.

Dial in an nothing. Cannot receive any call nor make calls.

Been using normal phone for the past few months fine using the 2820vn set to use the SIP accounts.
