Can someone advise me how to update the firmware on a 2600 and 2800 router without wiping the current settings?

Sorry .. different router .. but on the 2710 the firmware zip file contained two images. One would do a factory reset and upgrade - the other would retain existing settings and upgrade.

The release notes cover it but I've just downloaded the 2600 firmware and it appears to be the same.

the rst version = reset
the all version = retain settings.

Note - you must read the readme file as there are exceptions to this rule where you must use the rst update.
