I was talked through how to backup a 2800g router by Draytek support, before upgrading the firmware. Firmware update did complete ok. The router has now been proved to be unable to access the internet due to an internal fault (this was the reason for the call to tech support) and a new router has been ordered. Whenever I try to restore the config settings to the old router I get a message telling me that it has successfully completed but I cannot then access the router and IPConfig indicates no media. If I reset the router I can then access it but obviously back to default and without the restored config.
Is there any way in which I can read the back up file so as to obtain all the LAN etc settings please. This is rather urgent and I will be extremely grateful for any help available.
