I am trying to configure a firewall rule to block IP port 3074 to stop access to Xbox Live and to control the rule on a schedule so Mon-Fri the rule become active at 9pm for 5 hours.

I have added the rule to block the port to a new filter set and configured the 2nd set (default data filter to branch to my new filter set.

I have added a schedule Mon-Fri 9pm for 5 hours and set the action as Force On. I have added this schedule to my rules but they do not activate at 9pm.

What have I missed?

Thanks in advance

Colin

If the connection is already going, unfortunately the firewall can't stop it when the filter rule becomes active.
Are there other ways you could momentarily kill the connection? If it's using wireless you could have wireless scheduled to turn off for a minute or so, the same for the ADSL connection.
