i am using a 2820n with fw 3.3.3_RC4a. i >1% packet loss for all the time except for when i am downloading a torrent file. for the record, i am not downloading illegal torrents, rather - my university runs a service where the students can download from the uni servers through torrents.

i am reluctant to change firmware as have some site-to-site VPNs and every time i have change fw, something breaks ...

what could i try?

EDIT: within 10 seconds of the download starting, i experience 50%-70% packet loss. within 30 seconds of stopping the torrent, back to normal
