Having recently got Syslog running on a pair of Vigor 2820s I looked for the Vigor 2600 installation CD and installed the tools on a pair of 2600s in another installation. My problem is now a very simple one - I have failed to get it set up correctly. The Windows firewall has been updated for UDP port 514 and SysLogRd.exe, and logging to port 514 has been enabled on the router. I have created a folder for logs and given the log a name, but no log file has been created. On the Syslog window I am not sure what to do under the Setup Button, since I have not been able to find a 'blow by blow' description of the setup process.

Can someone help?
