I have had intermittent connection problems for the last 10 days; for the last 3 days I have not been able to access the Internet at all (I am currently using mobile broadband). BT have checked the line, at the request of my ISP, and say that it is OK and the problem must be at my end. Antivirus and antimalware scans have found nothing; I suspected that the winsock file might have been corrupted and have reloaded it, with no effect, and the problem persists when the modem is connected to a different (brand new) PC. Is it possible for a router to just "die"?

Have you migrated to 21CN recently?

If so you'll need a new router.

Search forum for threads on 2600's and 2800's.
