I need to connect remotely via dynamic dns to a small network at my clients premises. My client has provided an internet connection which is connected to the WAN2 port of a Vigor2820, my network connects to the LAN2 port. When configuring WAN2 in ‘Quick start’ I have selected DHCP. After re-booting ‘Online status’ displays all WAN2 settings in green. The IP address is shown as 192.168.1.1, I suspect this is an IP address given by my clients router, how do I obtain an IP address that I can use for my dynamic dns?
