Second IP Subnet Setup was created by darren-mc
OK this is driving me nuts and I wonder if someone help me.
I have a subnet from my isp
81.174.254.GW (Gateway)
81.174.254.Adr1 (ISP assigned router address)
81.174.254.Adr2
etc...
subnet 255.255.255.240
Now traditionally I have only used a subset of these addresses as NAT. I would like to start using the the additional IP addresses in 2nd Subnet function:
I have entered the 81.174.254.Adr2 and
subnet 255.255.255.240 into the 2nd subnet config.
I have then put a PC on the network with
81.174.254.Adr3
subnet 255.255.255.240
GW: 81.174.254.Adr2
and this works. The PC can gain access to the internet.
However, the PC cannot gain access to any resource which has been configured under that WAN1 IP Alias ( Multi-NAT) and has NAT and firewall rules (say an internal mail server) what am I doing wrong?
Thanks
Darren
